I'm so excited...
...and I just can't hide it.... (as DJ Duck would undoubtedly continue)
I have sold my first proper painting in a proper gallery for a proper price....
I always knew Chicago would appreciate me more than London, lol

way to go Sal!! I'm so happy for you, and such a wonderful painting too!
this is gorgeous, you deserve it!!!
*THIS* is amaze-moe! Really, really cool! I Love the colors, and the expression on the face, and the nails - oh the nails! - and the "carriage" of the figure. Bravo, bravo, I raise my martini (okay, it's really tea) in an Easterly direction to you!

very expressive paintings!
A WONDERFUL piece! Your choice of colors is sooo sophisticated! Marvelous!
Sheecahga loves ya baby!
Hi Sally,
I am the Chicago buyer. I absolutely LOVE this painting. There's just something that grabs me as a woman. This is one of those "gut" reactions. I don't have all of the words to use describing art. I just know that I think this rocks. It's graphic. It's got great color. I absolutely LOVE the hands. The nails. The face. The window scene. Thank you so much for painting this and showing here in Chicago. I love your work.

I have never blogged before. I'm not really anonymous

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments and most especially Michele for taking the time to blog semi-anonymously! I am so pleased that this painting has found a good wall to hang on. I'm looking forward to showing in Chicago lots more if Susan is prepared to keep working so hard for us. She's a real friend!
